Events & Venues Rotorua manages a portfolio of six versatile event facilities. These include the Energy Events Centre, Rotorua Convention Centre, Civic Theatre, Te Runanga Tea House, Rotorua Soundshell, and Rotorua International Stadium.

Our venues are close to the city centre, and most are within walking distance of major hotels, cafes, restaurants, and beautiful Lake Rotorua.

Energy Events Centre
Ideal for conferences, trade shows and exhibitions, the centre has four large multi-purpose function spaces, and a further six breakout rooms. In just one of its larger rooms alone it can accommodate either 2600 delegates for a seated banquet, 4000 delegates in theatre style. Utilising the entire complex, exhibitions or trade shows with up to 500 booths can be staged at the Energy Events Centre. The complex is supported by a dedicated and customer focussed conference team.

Rotorua Convention Centre
Designed specifically for conferences, trade shows, and exhibitions; the centre features an 800 seat Banquet Room, 686 seat Civic Theatre, and 350 seat acoustic Concert Chamber. A multi functional mezzanine area and foyer, along with four breakout rooms, add even more options to this versatile venue.
